ABSTRACT
          This project work is basically on the effect on which the people contract sexually transmitted diseases (Humane immunodeficiency virus, Rectro-viral disease and Gonorrhoea).
            What motivated me in carrying out research on this topic was just to know if there is any significance difference in the rate at which people contract the three diseases and also to know if there is differences between the years (2002-2011).
            The statistical tools used in this project work are Randomised completely block design (RCBC) and fisher’s least significant difference (LSD) where the three diseases represent the block and the number of years represent the treatment.
            The result of these statistical tools used show that there are significant different between the diseases (HIV, RVD and Gonorrhoea) and that there are no significant different between the years (2002-2011).

CHAPTER ONE
1.0     INTRODUCTION
Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are diseases that are mainly passed from one person to another during sex as the name implies. There are atleast twenty-five different sexually symptoms. These diseases may be spread through vaginal and oral sex.
            Most sexually transmitted diseases will only affect one if one has sexual contact with someone who has been infected with STD.
            Furthermore, one may become aware that one has an STD because of symptoms or it may be that a partner may claim that she has an STD which might have been passed on to another. Some STDs can be transmitted through an infected person even if the infected person doesn’t see any symptom(s). certain STDs can also be transmitted from a pregnant woman to her unborn child.
            Moreover, if one thinks one might have contacted an STD, then one should go and see a doctor. Many STDs can easily be cured if timely attended to and if left untreated, they might cause unpleasant pains and agony and may lead to long-term damage such as infertility.
            Some of the sexually transmitted diseases are; bacterial vaginosis, Chlamydia- which is caused by Chlamydia Trachematis Bacterium, public lice or crab, genital warts, gonorrhoea, Humane immunodeficiency virus, Rectro-viral diseases e.t.c. Types of STD diseases are Gonorrhoea, Humane Immunodeficiency virus and Rectro-viral diseases.

1.1     PURPOSE OF THE STUDY
          The purpose of this study is primarily with the aim of studying the rate at which people contact sexually transmitted diseases (HIV, RVD and Gonorrhoea)
